628 Years of Potatoes
Directed by Vincent Jondeau
An urban wasteland in a poor, peripheral district of Berlin becomes the ground for the unconventional quest of a young woman named Marina. Neglected for years due to the exorbitant price demanded by its owner, the land comes back to life when she plants potatoes and beans there, and street children join her to help transform the place. As she connects with the land, she embarks on a poetic and documentary search for the value of the earth.
